Rich Piazza has been charting and analyzing piano music for over 30 years.
Piazzas musical gifts span the gamut of styles and styles of music.
Rich has played for more than 30 years in orchestras and symphonies, and now teaches piano at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
Rich was the recipient of the 2012 Robert J. Johnson Fellowship to study music at the National Music Center.
In addition to his piano charts, Rich has taught music for orchestra and chamber music, and has also contributed to a large number of publications including the American Conservatory of Music’s journal, Conservatory Review.
He has published over 40 articles in the journal and has written two books on piano charting, one on charting of piano music and the other on analyzing music for musicians.
Rich also has an active blog, where he shares information about his career and works.
